I recently started working as an interior design assistant at a company in Folsom…although it was more of an office assistant position, ordering materials, tracking etc. and after about 2 months of being overworked and stressed out, I ended my employment with them. This job, although the most stressful, has only fueled my passion for interior spaces. Most of you don’t know this, but in college, I initially pursued an interior design major, but switched to graphics, because at the time, it was too much details, like lighting, plumbing, floor plans, etc. Now many years later, I’m back to square 1. But, what I think the area I want to focus on is remodeling/renovating the spaces. Adding furnishings, incorporating in trim work, changing the color/design scheme, etc to reimagine the space.
Above is the mood board I created inspired by some of my favorite YouTubers, xomacenna, lone fox, fiagarciadiy, to name a few. Below are the links, if you’re interested. I’m in no way sponsored nor get any commission for any of these links, (yet, lol), just wanted to share my passion. 🙂
